Can anyone tell me please, how I can get the speed that I am doing showing on TTN5? I don't mean when I have a route planned but when it is just operating when I am driving. All I appear to get is the distance to the next turn off/junction. It workrd OK with TTN3.

Under Preferences, go to Status Bar Preferences.
The speed is rather small when screen is in portrait view, but it shows up much better if you rotate the screen to landscape view. I actually prefer landscape when using 3D, as it looks more like what you see out of the windscreen

Thanks for that, but what I was trying to get at was the distance to next junction is shown in quite large symbols in the centre of the bottom bar as was the speed in TTN3. Is the way that you have explained, the only way of showing it?

It is, speed is displayed in large font when no route is planned but sadly when on an active route the speed is in a much smaller typeface in V5 Sad
