Can anyone advise what the GPS configuration/settings are for this combination please ?

My husband has had his mitts on it and now its not working! 8O

First problem was saying the 'GPS disabled' have tried changing some of the options but as I dont know what settings it should be on i am getting nowhere!

Any advice would be welcome. Thanks

Hi

I'm using TomTom 3 on the PPC250 so the instructions maybe different for other software but hte settings should be the same:

1. Go to GPS settings in TomTom
2. Click the GPS tab
3. Ensure you are setup for “TomTom Navigator GPS” & “S2410 COM1”
4. Click the icon next to the above settings but make sure the icon is a tick (ENABLED).

Thank you laserdisk for the help and the settings.

I took it to my brother earlier tonight and he put exactly those setting in to it, and it now works perfectly again.

I think what went wrong was that hubby must have accidentally started the medion sat nav prog and it was left running in the background. So when he booted up the tomtom prog, because the medion nav was running it wouldnt allow the tomtom to access the gPs through com1.????

Once the medion prog was exited and the correct settings put back it all worked fine!

Hope this makes sense. Am not very techincal so could be really wrong here!! Embarassed

Again thank you very much for posting the correct settings. I have made a note for future reference just in case they get muddled up again.

cheers
