after taking back my bluemedia pna with built in speed camera locations from makro (which was pants!!) i am looking at getting the navman 510 - should i stay clear of e-bay as these units go for £250-£300 and halfords charge £500 8O

also whats the diffrence in the us modal and the uk ones - is it just the warrenty??

also will i need to buy a bigger SD card to put the speed camera database on it??

so many questions so little time

I think you'd be better off going back to Makro and getting your BlueMedia back!

I bought one on the first day of the promotion and it's excellent. Mine gives voice prompts for the cameras and alerts me of even red light cameras.


In terms of the navigation side of it, it was better than any I've used to date (CoPilot 5, navigon 4.2, TomTom 4). Plus maps are bang up to date.

Plus, it was £229!!!!

Anyway, everyone to their own I guess.

got mine from ebay £285 brand new. not a prob with it. best toy i have ever got. As for the card, speed cams dont take up much room, they will fit on standard card. I only got a 512 card to take the Euro maps.
