Well I've only just put TT5 on the PDA, and the answer is no so far, but whether in the installation I've done something to it I haven't discovered yet.
In case you didn't know TT5 does have a built in POI warner - not as sophisticated as POIWarner, you just get one warning sound, anything from the usual variations on bells and bleeps to a cow(!!), but I think I saw in a thread somewhere in here that the voices are cusotmisable using someones cunning tweak?

only the built in poi will work with tomtom 5 third party software will not work im affraid _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .

Poi warner is in the process of being updated. I am using a beta of the new version.
The only reason why I still want to use the poi warner is that your able to record pois from a touch of one button. The tomtom one, i think is at the moment better, as it allows a far greater max warning period than the 30secs poi warner gives you. |
