Read a lot of stuff. About to make the plunge. HX4700 GS 338

Hi there.

As my title says I have read a lot of stuff about the whole pocket gps world but just wanted to post before I took the final plunge just in case I am making any fundimental errors. I am looking at purchasing a HP Ipaq hx4700 and Globalsat 338. The majority of reviews I have read on both items put them in a very good light. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who is using this combination. One piece of information I could not find was whether you can connect more than one device to the 338 at any one time via the bluetooth connection. I would love to be able to connect the Ipaq and my laptop at the same time.

One thing I forgot to ask. I have read that the early models of the 338 suffered from some problems. Does anyone know any part number info so I can differentiate between a good and bad 338?
