Would it be possible to reword the Camera POI Guide to ensure that everyone is aware that you need to transfer the files and not the folders to their machine, this problem seems to be occuring at regular intervals and appears to be the main reason why users have a problem.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Great minds think alike! When I started to read through the posts this morning I made a note to update the instructions.

I’ve modified the TomTom Go guide for installing the PocketGPSWorld camera database.

Whilst it already did say copy the files, I’ve now emphasised the files and added that folders should not be copied:

Step 3. Copy the POI files from your PC
Go to the directory on the local hard drive of your PC where you stored or downloaded the unzipped POI database files (.OV2 and optionally .BMP files)
Select and copy the POI database files.
You must copy the (.OV2 and .BMP) files - do NOT copy the folders.
