|
|
I don't have an onscreen keyboard? I've removed TT3 and installed TT5 on my PDA2k and all seems fine except when I hit something like 'Naviagate to' the only way I can enter things is through the built in keyboard? Any ideas what might have happened to it?
I've been into preferences and changed from large keyboard to small and back again... nothing. When it comes to house number, the keyboard appears! The problem with this is, I can't enter a post code, as I can't enter numbers on the first screen. _________________ TomTom 6 - SPV M5000 and WM6

That's a "feature". TTN5 will use the built in keyboard if it senses one is present. _________________ Lutz

I just got this back from TT -
Quote: | If you are you using a Bluetooth or external keyboard this will conflict act with the keyboard within the software. If you can use the external keyboard to enter in addresses, that is one solution. If you would like to use the keyboard within the software, you must first remove the drivers for the Bluetooth keyboard. We currently do not have a solution to provide you with.
Kind Regards,

Having a built in keyboard means I lose the onscreen one? Is it me or is that ridiculous to not even give me the choice?
I have replied, asking if this will be corrected in the near future. _________________ TomTom 6 - SPV M5000 and WM6

Apparently there are no plans to fix this. What are the chances someone finds a 'hack' to enable the onscreen keyboard? _________________ TomTom 6 - SPV M5000 and WM6

there is a registry value somewhere "HasKeyboard" - that one needs to be manipulated. _________________ Lutz

As reported by some of the TTN5 users, that registry fix only works for TTN2004/4.4. |
