Purchased tomtom go front cover from PC world and they said they would work for the tomtom go 700, but guess what they had a bloody hold in them for the memory card and behind this is the hard drive so dust can go in this.
When i sent back they did not want to know and said that i had opened the packing so could not give them back. |

If you bought it over the internet you can send it back even if it is opened.
If you asked them if it was for the TomTom GO 700 then they gave you false information so you were mis-sold the product.
Keep hassling them and don't leave the shop until you've got your money. |

As a matter of fact the hard disk on the 700 is not behind the hole for the SD card, but is actually situated behind the screen!
As far as your return goes, the sale of goods act specifies that the item must be fit for purpose, you specified a GO700 and were supplied with a cover for a 300 or 500, obviously not fit for purpose. Therefore I would expect that there should not be any issues should you press the case. _________________ Mike Barrett |
