Set NMEA with NemeriX Control Lite

I am testing a new GPS receiver by connecting to my Laptop and Magellan Aussie Maps.(PDA connection will come next) I cant even find a brand name on the GPS - manual says Sony Pro 2 So-Mini GPS-101.
The GPS itself is working with the included software, however I cannot get it to interface with Magellan Aussie maps. I bought one of these receivers a month ago (old stock) and it worked wonderfully with Magellan maps but I dont know if I can get any more of that model.

However the new one I just got cannot be recognised by Magellan and I am concerned the NMEA setting are screwed up (but I dont know what I am talking about.

The GPS came with software called Nemerix Control Tool Lite v 0.92 which has a button to Set NMEA. When I go here I have a list of 3 digit characters (CGA,GLL,GSA,GSV,RMC,VTG,ZDA). Below each group are drops downs with a choice of 1 though 10 and the ability to choose send once the correct rates are chosen. If the NMEA settings are wrong how/what do I change them to
