Directed onto M25 via an emergency exit

Have any of you had this experience?

I knew the area well but thought I would let my TTG show me the way.
Had I not been familiar with the area, I could have joined the M25 near Clackets Service station by way of an emergency exit.

The gate allowing access to the M25 was even open, but there was a camera overhead.

Not too sure what ones defence would have been, perhaps " ... but my TTG said I could go this way officer".

How would this stand up in court!

This is a known issue with TeleAtlas data. Best not to find out what the courts might say if you offered up your GO's instructions as your defence. I'm not sure that you'd like their response.
