Tungsten T3/BT for GPS software?

Hi, I have been trying to decide all week which option to go for. Can one of you nice helpers come to my aid?! Driving around Devon's lanes with my map book for company is making me crazy!

Has anybody actually been using the ViaMichelin Mapsonic navigation in the UK? I cannot find any 'real' user opinions which worries me a little. I'm considering it over the TomTom as it is a slightly cheaper option and would leave me more to spend on the BT receiver.

Ah, so talking of the receiver - I keep seeing the new Fortuna slim BT receiver (SiRF star III) advertised. As you all seem to rate the Fortuna clip-on, might it be worth waiting for their new offering? Expansys have a GSpace GS-R230 which looks suspiciously like a Holux, which might be a better buy?
