I don't know if I am doing something wrong but if I switch on the receiver and wait until it has locked on and then try to plan a route I am getting the following message:
Destination set
Route will be planned when GPS position is reliable
When I check the GPS status it has locked on to 9 sats but yet TT just sits there doing nothing.
Hope someone can help with this one. It's not much use if I can't plan a route with the receiver powered on. ![Crying or Very sad](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_cry.gif) ![Crying or Very sad](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_cry.gif) ![Crying or Very sad](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_cry.gif) |

That message just means you are not on a road that is on the map or are not on a road at all e.g. Sat at home? _________________ Darren Griffin |

The first time it happened I was in town at lunch time today the second when at home. Also, I haven't had the message before when I was in the same location which is why I'm confused. |

Could it SEE 9 sats (bars grey) or had it LOCKED ON to 9 sats (bars red) - the message will appear under the following circumstances:
* Satellites detected, but either not enough to triangulate or triangulation not yet completed (regardless of how many sats detected)
* Completely unknown road
* GPS not talking (bluetooth only)
* GPS battery too low to support a consistant enough data rate to triangulate (bluetooth only)
Amusingly, even going out on the water doesn't fool it. On the car ferry between Liverpool and the Isle of Mann it correctly said "Unknown Ferry" as the location, rather than "Unknown Location" |

It had locked on - 9 red bars - but I think it might have been because the two places I tried was the car park at work, and home which is an unknown road. Once I started out on a journey it was okay. ![Smile](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |
