tried uploading the 5.10 on the tomtom website & it messed up. now all i have is the tomtom sign with the hands display & it won't turn off either, unless you press the reset under the tomtom. any suggestions as to what has gone on? its only 2 days old Evil or Very Mad

I assume you have attempted to install 1.51. I suspect the upgrade did not work correctly.

Hopefully you have made a backup of your SD card. If so, just restore your backup and all will be well.

I had exactly the same problem on my new TTG300. Luckily though, I had done a back-up of the SD card and was back up and running in 15 mins. The only non-standard thing I had on the TTG300 was the camera database - can't see it's related though.

i tried the reset it just had a frozen screen when i turned it back on, my mate who works at uni science park had it all day yesterday & has managed to get it working again :D but he's still struggling with the speed cameras going on Sad & if anyone who knows what he's doing its him Confused he said he's installed all the relevant information & when he goes to the POI there is no option for the speed cameras, just the usual hospital, zoo's etc Sad . at least he has got it going again 8O

It could be that the SD card is full. If you backed up the SD card, you could try copying from the backup. This would put you back to V5.0 and running.

The Safety Camera POI should be in the map folder. Check it's in the right place.
