have speed meter and calculation

I located in Taiwan. Have a pocket pc and gps receiver , also have navigator software which is called papago. But I want to test the performance of my car , as the 1/4 mile, 0-60mph etc. Does there have such simple and free software to suitable these jobs ?　 　　

The forum full of useful articles ,but I am just a newuser that still don't know how to search the software which I need. Could anybody tell me ?

my GPS software will not show a true speed whilst accelerating - the way I would do this is to find a flat straight road and cruise along at a steady 60 (as per speed on sat nav, if yours displays speed) this will give you a chance to see where 60 is on your speedo/rev counter.

you will then have to get someone in the car to time you from a standing start to the point you know to be 60.

the above does not mean i condone street racing, and I assume that the road you attempt this on will have a speed limit suitable to speeds you are hoping to gain.
