PLS Help! Map install probs on Dell X30

I have successfully installed Tomtom navigator 3.07 to my Axim X30, but when I try to install a map to my SD card (Kingston 128mb)I get the error message
"Setup: Internal problem. Cannot initialize API. Please restart setup."

I can install small (+-16mb) maps onto the main memory, but SD seems to be a no no.
Does anybody have an idea what the problem might be?

You don't normally use ActiveSync to install maps onto the device. Put your SD card in a card reader on the PC and install directly to the card reader.
