|

Hi, I'm a bit new to GPS and have recently purchased an iPAQ hx4700, a bluetooth GPS receiver and TomTom Navigator 3.
I had been having problems getting TomTom to work with my GPS receiver, but then I installed the 3.07 update for TomTom and all is well, except now I cannot open TomTom Navigator because it keeps saying...
No Maps found, please install and activate an original TomTom Navigator 3 map first.
Before I installed the update, my maps were working absolutely fine, but it wouldn't connect with my GPS receiver - now I have the opposite problem.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Please help me, I am going bald before my time with this problem.

I've tried that, but it comes up with exactly the same error message. |

What version of TTNav where you using that worked?
Was it 3.00, 3.01, or another?
Are you using a legitimate version of TTNav?

Yes, I've had the problem on my Ipaq 1940 a number of times. Normally, taking the SD card out, pressing the little reset hole thingy in the back, then turning the Ipaq off and putting the SD card back in with the Ipaq switched off works for me. |
