I can't seem to get any POIs when I use Major roads of Europe on TTN 3.07. I thought maybe I could CheckPoint to show POIs. Am I doing something wrong or does MRE not have POIs? |

The POI.DAT file for MRE is basically empty. Having said that - nothing is stopping you from copying another POI.DAT file into that folder, for example the one from the Great Britain map. That way you get all the UK POIs with the MRE map. _________________ Lutz

As far as I am aware, Checkpoint only looks at those POIs you have input. You need to store these in the Major_Roads_of_Europe Navigator Map folder.
For example you can store the GB Speed camera database, along with those of other countries eg France (GPS Passion site).

Steve. |

Thanks all. I wasn't using checkpoint correctly and didn't refresh/synchronise the overlay files. Now that I have the speed cam....er...I mean points of interest now show up on the screen. Thanks all for your help. |
