New Map with intergrated MROE :D
Full postcode search :D
Speed camera warnings (free)
Modified Data.chk file for our speed camera warnings (free) :D
(thanks Lutz)
Lots of really useful POI (free) :D
A greatly improved V5 OS (free) :D
Best of all a comparatively inexpensive, innovative, satellite navigation unit which works really well and always gets me where I want to be. :D
Enjoy your TomToms folks - you paid for 'em!
No, I have no connection with tomtom at all. :D |

Is there a special edition version of data.chk for V5 then? Where does one get it from? |

I'm with eryops on this. I know there has been a lot of grumbling about the new maps, but I view my current TTG config as doing what I want it to do - and doing it well.
Yes the upgraded maps still aren't perfect - but nothing ever is these days. The rate at which technology advances the TTG (and all the other systems) are just commodity items these days and in two years time it will probably be replaced by something better and cheaper,
Yes the upgrade cost £61. But putting things into perspective it can cost me that much for one tank of petrol in my car.
My TTG swops between my car, the missus' car and my motorbike. Brilliant. _________________ Regards,
