I have bought a Go 300 having never used GPS before, mainly for GB use but would like to take it on occasional trips to France, Spain, Holland etc.
I seem to have 2 choices:
1) Buy MOWE and install it myself onto an SD card
2) Buy the individual country maps preinstalled onto SD at much greater cost.
Please advise - is there sugnificant benefit in having the presumably newer SD card maps or will the MOWE be OK? Also how easy is the installation?
I have managed to install Safety Cameras and custom sounds, and also update the OS to 5.1 in the week I've had the machine, so I'm OK once I know what to do!
Sorry to ask what might sound pathetically easy questions but you have to start somewhere. |

Unless your made of money go for the MOWE on CD's. It will cost you about £100 for all the maps of Western Europe, where as if you buy the SD card it will be about £100 per country so the three you mentioned will cost you £300 
When the new MOWE are released on CD they will be exactly the same as the one's you get on the SD card but you have to supply your own SD card. The MOWE are expected to be released about the end of June.
I don't know how difficult they are to install onto an SD card never having done it but I'm sure someone will be along to advise you shortly  |

it usually pretty easy just a case of drag and drop or using the installer and a cardreader

| Yes but is there any advantage in having the newer versions on SD cards or are they much the same as the MOWE versions? |
