What are you guys using to connect your 6600 to your pc ?
Just downloaded Activesync 3.7.1 as i want to use the TTM 4.43 upgrade.
At the moment i am using a mobile action ma-620 infrared usb.
Activesync will not find the connection. Is BT the way to go ?
Many thanks in advance. |

I use Nokia PC Suite for 6600, goto Noia.co.uk in the 6600 user area you can download it OR it should come on a CD with your phone ?

The best method of transfering files is to use a card reader. The nokia PC suite (in my opinion) is rubbish and unreliable regardless of whether you use bluetooth or a DKU cable.
Just my two pennies worth. If you can, use a card reader.

Oh and I meant to say, ActiveSync is no good for the 6600. To get the 4.43 TTM update to the phone just copy the TTM.SIS and TTMD.SIS files to the memory card and install from the phone.

Given the choice yes. But some updates don't seem (IMHO) to install as well and as far as I know it is the only way to sync your contacts & diary between the mobile & PC. And the better way to back up the mobile setup incase of loss.
The stuff on the card I back up via card reader, myself
