Wired GPS Mouse - Recommendation Please

I intend to replace my EMTAC sleeve with a wired GPS mouse.

I have been considering the Holux GR-211 as reviewed here but have seen little feedback from users. Might be a good sign as most posts are related to problems.

I would welcome recommendations and feed back in general, all brands not just Holux, based on actual experience.

back in the old days I used a Royaltek RGM-2000 - excellent performance and a cutie. Actually, I still have it, and it still works nicely.

I used a Holux GM210 for some time without any problems. Only stopped using it when I bought the CR100 GPS receiver/cradle/amplified speaker.
It is waterproof and magnetic, so you can stick it on the car roof if you are having reception problems (which I never did)

Thanks Lutz and Robin for your replies.

I am looking closely at the Royaltek and Holux, although not the GM210 but rather the GR211 which is a mini-sized version of the 210.

By the way, you need to pay particular attention to the listings on Total GPS.

1. They describe the GM210 as a new product, it isn't.
2. They don't offer the dedicated PDA cable which is required (for PDA use)
3. Once you factor in the cost of a cable and also VAT, the true price before carriage woud be approx £80+

The newer GR211 can be had for approx £85 including carriage.
