This summer I will be driving to Bavaria via Hoek Van Holland.
I see the TT site mentions speed cameras abroad.
Has anyone hand any experience of these, or anyothers for that matter?
Should I seriuosly consider getting the POI for these? If I get caught being a johnny foreigner would they expect me to pay a fine and would my licence get clobbered? |

I wouldn't worry, they don't follow up foreign speeding fines. |

Knowing my luck there is always a first time.
Interestingly I wonder how the laws actually apply outside your own country? As we are all part of the "Federation of Europe" etc. mind you it does raise some interesting privacy issues. I wonder who is going to be the first to try these out. _________________ Mike Barrett |

France and some other countries have banned radar detectors, so if you have one it’s best not to take it to continental Europe. If you get caught then you allegedly get a large fine and are made to run over the detector in your vehicle.
