hi all need a little help PDA's

hi, newbie here. Im looking at in car sat nav and have seen this Dell AximTM X50 BluetoothTM GPS for £337. Now is this the right choice of system to buy?Im looking for a small PDA so i can easily carry it? Any help would be great thankyou.

A mate has this, and is happy to use it to navigate around London. I have an iPaq 3970 with TomTom3, and noted these nagative point about the Dell system -

1) Poor volume on voice instructions from the Dell PDA
2) Dell s/w is IMHO poorer than TomTom in presentation of maps etc. And I'm not sure you can add points-of-interest, speed-scamera warnings etc. like with TT3
3) S/w was slow to lookup address details, despite the fast processor on the X50.

No question that the X50 is small and has nice clear display even though the screen gets covered in fingerprints.

Given the choice, I'd take the PDA but match with TT3 or wait a bit and get TomTom5 with the new maps.
