As my new map upgrade will be arriving any day now will it be possible for my daughter to use my old sd card in her ttg or is their an issue regarding registration?

She can use the card (as in physical storage) but may not be able to use the maps - those are registered to the device ID of your GO. it depends on how often (on how many devices) you have activated your maps already within the last half year. _________________ Lutz

Only had my ttg for a couple of months so I assume the maps have been activated just the once.

As your daughter has a TomTom Go already I assume that she already has the old maps activated, in which case there should be no problem. If they do require activating then you can do it with her original product code there will be no time or number of activations limitations as this is what she already has registered.
If on the other hand you are referring to the new maps, then this cannot be done as it breaks the licence agreement. _________________ Mike Barrett |
