Screen Saver on Ipaq (& new TT BT)

Have got Tom Tom Nav 3 and an Ipaq 4700 which is going reasonably well at the moment, bar one problem - the blinking screen saver "DockWare" comes in over the top of TomTom.

I thought the TomTom software kept the device active - i.e. if it was running but even on batteries the unit would both stay on and the screen saver would not start... this 'seems' to be the case but if its on power (so the screen can stay lit) the screen saver comes on

PS - Any idea when the new TomTom BT unit is it - could do with trying to get the BT GPS unit and Nav3 replaced at the POS if its likely to be shortly.
