will an acer n35 with the built in gps antenna work with tomtom ver 4.4? or tomtom 2004 whatever you call it.

Officially this is not supported. Inofficially you may be lucky using the latest version 4.440 and the setting "other Bluetooth receiver"

does this then allow you to change com ports etc?
and select the gps from a list like tomtom 3 did

still no go have downloaded the upgrade and there is still no option to select a device or com port etc. pressing on other bluetooth device just brings up a screen saying please pair ur pda/smartphone with tour gps reciever. press ok then goes back to navigation screen with no gps device on the screen. oh well just gonna have to bite the bullet and buy a new tomtom go

sorry to hear that. So far we haven't figured out yet why it works sometimes and doesn't work at other times. If anyone has any insight into that - feel free to chime in.

TTN5 may actually support the Acer again...
