I have a TTG with a 128Mb card. It has maps of GB on it, & I got a CD in the box with 'Major Roads of Europe' on it.
I have no idea what upgrades are now open to me, & at what cost!...
Someone please explain in n00b language!
Cheers

The first option is to download the free v5 application upgrade. This uses your existing maps, but gives you a lot more bells and whistles for route planning.
With your current setup - with a 128MB card - you can have either GB maps or Major Roads of Europe maps on the card at any one time. If you buy a bigger card (at least 256MB) you can have both on the card at the same time - but you can only use one at once.
The recently announced 79 Euro upgrade gives you:
* The v5 application (which you can download for free anyway)
* A larger SD card
* New (allegedly updated) UK maps - including full postcode search, and the ability to opt to avoid toll roads
* Detailed UK maps and Major Roads of Europe on the same map - enabling you to navigate seamlessly from anywhere in UK (at street level) to anywhere in Europe (at village level)
HTH.
