Does installing TT3 & Destinator 3 on the same PDA (Mio 168) cause any problems (eg with GPS drivers)? I use TT3 but have bought the trial version of Destinator to use when on holiday in the states. I'm hoping they will live together nicely....

Thanks.

That should work without problems. Mostly we see "port-bending" with bluetooth receivers and TomTom.

I have just recently installed Destinator along side TTN3. Both programs co-exist fine with each other. Whether you will like Destinator after running TTN3 for nearly 3 years like I have is another question. Destinator eats up memory, it's painfully slow to start, the voice warnings become annoying after a short while, and using the speed camera database is a nightmare to set up.

Let us know back here what you think once you have used it for a while.

Thanks for the advice, I'll let you know what I think of it when I'm back off holiday. Think I might have gone a bit overboard on the GPS for the US trip (Nevada, Arizona, Utah) - I have the trial version of Destinator and trial maps for Mapopolis. I think Mapopolis is a bit basic looking (I'm actually a fan of the 3D view and find it easier to use), but you can't deny that it is fast when it comes to zooming around the map.

Ideally I want to use TT, so if they get their act together and release reasonably priced maps before June I'll use them instead.
