TomTom 300 release date?

Hi,

Looking at the different sites selling the new TTG 300 there seems to be various release dates. Amazon have the release date as the 25th April and Maplins have it as the 28th April. Is there an official release date?

Also yesterday I saw a topic in this forum where it was suggested from another website that they wouldn't be released until July? I've just been looking but can't find the topic to check, does anyone know where it's gone? It also said on the topic that there was a meeting today with TomTom and that there would be more info then?

Or was this all a rumour to wind those of us up that are avaiting delivery of the new TTG 300? 8O

TomTom has a expected release date for TomTom Go 300 of May 15 2005. The TomTom Go 700 has the expected release date of mid June 2005.
