hi,i dont know if my sd card is full or blank.when i browse the card on my pc it empty apart from
dan.vif
engf.vif
177.mb used
2.33mb free
noything shows up apart from them 2 files
i've got the red X and the black arrow on my tom tom go
when i try to install progra,m from cd-rom it says sd card is full ,so im a bit stuck what to do next????? i should be working now,any helpers online!!! |

i tried the reset button but that did not work !!! it just came back on with the card and a big RED X through it! |

I'd format the card and start from scratch , load the application maps and test before adding extra pois |

THNKX formattded the sd card reinstalled got new activation number now its working fine :D :D
just need to update to V5 now 8)
dont know why it broke in he first place? maybe my sd card was too full,do i need to leave some space on the card for tom tom go to work correctly??????
might just buy a BIGGER CARD :D

You should have plenty of room. The original 128 Mb card on UK models left about 14Mb spare. TomTom needed a bit of that for processing and route storing. Now that V5 allows itinerary saving you might need a bit more if you save lots of routes. |
