Which one do I buy?

Hi Everyone

Basically I'm after some advice on which Sat Nav System to buy. I'm looking to spend between £300 - £400. I seem to have been sat in front of this computer all evening getting nowhere.

A friend recently bought a Navigon 4 PNA which I liked to look of. It was small easy to use and had maps of Europe available on disc. As I'm going to France twice in the coming months I will need a street level map of France.

So I started looking at different websites and the Navman ICN510 caught my eye, again being small but to have the French maps you have to pay what seems quite a bit extra.

Then whilst reading of of these forums someone mentioned the Mitac Mio 269 which they said was better than the Navman for less money and had the French maps already installed.

Any advice/guidance anyone could offer on which one to buy will be gratefully received, and it could stop a total novice making an expensive mistake. Thank You all in advance
