I've just borrowed a tomtom go gps system of a mate and it has me hooked. The system would suit me perfect for the road use I do, But!!! I would also like one to use in my motor for when I go 'green laning'. I need something that I can type map coordinates into and possiblie mark waypoints as I go. Any suggestions????

for green laning id look at some topographical software like fugawi or memorymap as well as some on road software ie copilot or tomtom

for what your looking to do your looking at a pda solution ie a pocketpc from the like of hp with the ipaq id go for somthing with duel slots cf and sd and bluetooth to
while bluetooth is a little more fiddley to get going it does give the best flexability also youll ned a car mount because of the type of offroading you want to do id recomend a car kit from brodit with a proclip as i feel this is the most secure method of mounting it
