Hi all,

Just joined the forum as I have a problem with my newly purchased sd card (kingston 512mb). When I put the data onto the new card and switched the unit back on I get a red cross that appears through the card on the screen. If I reconnect the usb cable and check the card, the data is there. I backed up the old card to my pc and then cut and pasted the data to the new card, what have I done wrong??

Regards,

Andy.

What format have you used to format the card? Try FAT16.

hi

one of the guys i work with had the same problem and it turned out he installed the maps but forgot to click on install the application from the cdrom

to cure this you can just install the application from the disk or format your new card and start again installing the application first then the maps

hope this helps

andy :D
