So I've been using these for awhile and am very happy with them, but cannot understand why there wasn't an option to start checkpoint when you start TomTom, since that means you have to start checkpoint, instead of Navigator. I know people have suggested assigning a button to checkpoint and do it that way but is that the only way? Surely there's a way to start it with TomTom?

Just for reference, I'm using...

TomTom Navigator 3
Checkpoint 2.0.2
Mio 168

Why? What's the difference between starting CheckPOInt which launches TomTom and doing it the other way? The only reason I can see why you may wish it the other way is to retain access to the TomTom Today Plug-In.

It is like it is because CheckPOInt cannot be launched by TomTom which is not programmed to launch 3rd party apps. The solution is for CheckPOInt to have the option of launching TomTom.

I use a hardware assigned button but others manage by lust selecting the CheckPOInt Icon.

All academic anyway as TTN5 no longer requires 3rd party apps for POI warnings Smile
