Hi guy's, :D
I'm new to all this and have a couple of questions for you.
I've recently bought an iPAQ hp 2210 and have TT3 software. It runs fine for all of the UK and I fine it very usefull. However, I've also just got hold of an SD card with maps of Germany and Belgum. The thing is, it won't run the new maps.
The paper work says that the maps won't work with version 3.03, 3.05 or 3.07????? It must be version 3. I therefore, must have one of the other versions. (I didn't know there were different one's.).
My first question is:- How do I find out which version my iPAQ has on it? and secondly, how/where do I get the correct software to run the maps?
Or have I just been ripped off on ebay?
Any help would be greatfully received, as I'm off to Germany in May and would dearly like to be able to find my way there and back!

Hi Andy, And welcome to the forums
To try to answer your questions.....
1) to find out what version of TomTom you are using - start up the software and then select mapmode (click at the top left of the screen and select Map - the from the menu's at the bottom select "About" and this will tell you the version you are on
2) how to get the software to run - This is the tricky one, frankly as you say

Yes, most likely would be my answer as the maps are on an SD card - TomTom supply the software on a CD with codes, if you got them on ebay on a card then i suspect that you have a pirated copy - teke it up with the seller, and if the seller is not helpful, then take it up with Ebay as selling Pirate software is against their rules and regs.
