Hi chaps, first post so please be patient.

(1)

I have installed Tomtom3 with my Ipaq 4150 PDA and find that I have manually connect the bluetooth GPS receiver every time. Can this be automated whenever I start-up the Navigator software ?

(2)

If using the proper Tomtom car kit which connects the GPS receiver to the holder via a cable, should the receiver be recognised directly or is this still only via Bluetooth (i.e. is the cable just to recharge the receiver) ?

(3)

Whenever I close down the PDA, I have to perform a soft reset before I can re-connect the receiver - for example, if I leave the car for a short while. Otherwise I cannot get the Bluetooth Manager to display. Is this a known problem and if so, how do I get around it.

(4)

Has anyone got the Tomtom wizard to work ? Mine tells me the maps are not installed - which is clearly incorrect as the navigation works OK.

Thanks for any help you can give to a noobie...

Shady Exclamation

I have the HP4150, but i got the TomTom wired GPS, It charges the pad and never turns off. It also takes less than a minute to get a signal. But if i was you i would probally send back the blutooth version and go wired, the wires can be tucked neatly away. I have had no problems since the day i got it. :D
