Firstly, please bear in mind that I am a Macintosh user, so I do not have access to admin utilities that come with the TTG (A quick thought: Are there any Mac users who have successfully tried the aforementioned software with Virtual PC?).
Also I am aware of TamTam for the Mac, but it seems that people aren't having much luck with getting it to work!
Ideally I need to free up 45MB for the full post code set, failing that, just the south of England ones (25mb)
So, can anyone help, or is the only advice "Buy a bigger SD card"!
Thanks in advance

You should be able to free up some space by removing voice files that you don't need. But it's nowhere near the space you need. Indeed a bigger card is the best solution. _________________ Lutz

Don't see why people are having problems with Tamtam and the Mac, I have been using Tamtam for about 7 months now. I have never encountered a problem; OK there was no progress bar, however if you looked at the Tomtom Go screen the give away was the flashing SD Card Icon on the bottom right. Once that stopped flashing it was ready to continue. Another point to remember too, you must have the original Tomtom GO CD installed in the Mac drive for Tamtam to work!!
I now see that the Tamtam software has a progress bar built into the software, so now if you think it's not working check the progress bar. |

Must be an upgrade available for TamTam then. I'll have a look. |
