If it's a genuine TomTom Mobile card, contact TomTom Support, who should be able to help you, if necessary by offering you a 'repair' of the card (they'll copy a complete new image over it). There's always some rogue storage media that slips out (we've had people with faulty CDs before now on other products).
If the smiley indicates that this is not, in fact, a genuine TomTom Mobile card, please do not waste our time. Pocket GPS World has a policy of neither endorsing nor supporting the use of software other than in accordance with copyright law and any relevant licence agreements.
My apologies if yours is a genuine card, but we've had quite a bit of time wasted recently in at least one thread where the problem turned out to be software that had been modified to circumvent activation. We have no way of telling in the forums whether people are using legally licensed software or not, but we do ask people to understand that there's no way we can do anything that appears to encourage or support breaking the law.

That's good news. TomTom will stand by legitimate users who have card problems, as your example shows. It can take a little while to get help, but if you contact them with proof of purchase and your Product Code to hand, you should have no problems. Do post back to let us know when you're sorted.
My apologies once again for my previous post - but there are people who do waste our time and aren't prepared to pay for what they wish to use. My experience is that PDA, GPS and navigation products are getting cheaper all the time. I paid £560 for an iPAQ 3970 in September 2002 - that would buy you a whole system now. Please support the companies so that they can bring us ever better products.
