Hi,

I have just bought the ipaq 1710/Tom Tom 3 bundle and I am trying to find some post code software that works.

I downloaded the digitools version and installed it as per the instructions but everytime I entered a postcode it just opened TT3 at my home location.

I have also tried using the POI postcode overlays but I am confused as to how they work. When I try to navigate to a POI and for example go to the NW Postcodes then it only shows about 20 postcodes and there is no way to search them.

I am running version 4.44 of tom tom and Windows Mobile 2003 second edition on a Ipaq rz1710

Any help greatly appreciated.

You don't have TomTom Navigator v3 on the r1710. The version bundled with that is a HP specific version that uses the common navigation engine as used in GO, Palm and Smartphone.

So UKPostCode is not compatible with your version (and has now been withdrawn for copyright reasons). The only other option is the Post Code POI's, see here.

Thanks for the reply.

I have loaded the overlays as well but when I try to navigate to a POI it only shows about 30 postcodes for the region rather than all of them. There doesn't seem to be any way to search them either.

Any ideas?
