I have just bought an Ipaq 3630 on Ebay with Tomtom 3 pre-installed. the seller informed me that he just couldn't get the software working and so had given up.
I have tried to install TTCityMaps and that works perfectly. However when I install TT3 Navigation I can't get past the activation screen. When I go onto ttcode.com it gives me the code to enter in (which I have stored on my PC) and when I input this TT3 says "software activated".
However, when I click OK it tells me that "The activation code you entered is not valid for Great_Britain". I am then presented back with the "Activation code required" screen.
Really no idea what to do, I have downloaded a Keygen but it just gives me the same code from ttcode.com. I have also read about patching the midi file with a cracked one, however this doesn't work, TT3 just tells me then that it can't find any maps installed.
All the maps are installed on a 1Gb Flash card

Hi Chris,
to the forum!
I hope that you had a bargain, buying the iPAQ 3630, and that you didn’t pay an extortionate amount of money for an old PDA with SatNav software because you haven’t got TomTom Navigator 3. If you did then you should ask for a refund as you’ve only bought an old PDA.
TomTom, are quite rightly upset about people pirating their software, that’s why you get a unique product code which is used as a key to unlock the software for use, once you have activated it on the TomTom website. Once a product code has been used to activate TTNav on a PDA you have to wait some time before you can use it again. In fact what’s to stop the eBay seller from making a note of it and using it before you?
The simplest thing is to buy a new sealed copy of the TomTom Navigator software, safe in the knowledge that you can use its unique and unused product code.
