But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

I have been using my wired tomtom gps for a while, and have decided to go mobile, by using a Rikaline slimline bluetooth GPS reciever, with TT3 and my ipaq 2210.

Are you using SD memory for your maps? The reason for asking is that many people have found the combination of iPAQ h2210, TomTom Navigator 3, SD memory for the maps and a Bluetooth GPS unstable. Change any one of those things, and the instability tends to disappear.
For example, I use TomTom Navigator 3, SD memory for the maps, a Bluetooth GPS and an iPAQ hx4700.
Probably the easiest thing is to put your maps on a CompactFlash card. I can't guarantee that it will solve the problem, but it seems to have helped many people.
By the way, you'd inadvertently managed to post the same message twice - I deleted the duplicate.

(Edited: typo in iPAQ model number corrected)
