I quit Palms after using a T3 for a couple years and then "upgrading" to a T5; so now I have a x50v and I'm very happy with it. I'd like to get some nice GPS software that I can use with a Compact Flash or Bluetooth receiver. In the past I used Mapopolis and Delorme Streets ... on may Palms, and I was not very happy with either one - I thought the built in Garmin Etrex Legend software was far better than either. So my questions are - does any GPS software take advantage of the 640x480 screens on new PPCs yet? Can anyone recommend a good GPS software package for PPC?

Thanks

Rob

What you don't say is which country you're in (it's helpful if you update your profile). By your list of what packages you've used previously, I suspect you're in the United States.

I know that TomTom Navigator 2004 does support VGA - though I don't know whether Lutz would recommend it or not at this time. I'm not well up on USA software options.

Thanks for the info. I am in the US (Chicago, IL). Tomtom looks pretty pricey, is it worth it?
