IPAQ Soft Reset

I have just purchased an IPAQ RZ1710. On two occasions I have gone to switch it on and nothing has happened. To get it working I have had to do a soft reset. Does anyone know why this happens? :x

Like all operating systems, Pocket PC can crash.

Crashes at startup tend to indicate you did something like switching off the Pocket PC with a navigation application running. As the storage card hardware takes a while to power up after you switch the Pocket PC back on (well, it's more like resuming it from being suspended, really - a Pocket PC is never fully off unless the battery is disconnected), that can be enough to crash the Pocket PC.


Do you happen to know what you were doing immediately before you switched off the Pocket PC, and what applications were open?
