|
|
As a newcomer I hope I've posted this in the right place. I have tried searching the forums for an answer to no avail.
The title says it all really. I have a Medion md40600 running MedionNavigator 2.0A and want a detailed map of France in addition to the UK and major European maps that come with the system as standard.
Can I assume that a Navtech CD / map will do the job (specifically part no T1000-6936 / pack no T1000-6928)?
Many thanks in anticiaption.......
P.S. What have been doing without one of these things for so long?! |

Whilst I'm learning fast, I'm just finding my way in this arena. I specifically mention the T1000-6936 & T1000-6928 since I have spotted it for sale on ebay. |

I've removed my original reply which was intended for another thread, sorry about that
As for your query, the answr is no. Each software vendor uses their own proprietary formats on handlhelds and so you can only use the maps intended for and dsitributed by that vendor.
In this example you can only use map data supplied by Medion. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks for answering, but I can't thank you for your answer - if you see what I mean.
Ho hum, anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced Medion France Map? |

Having said that, you're right of course. The medionshop site shows that the France map isn't available for my version of the software .
Ho hum again.
Time for some new software me thinks. |
