Deleting existing camera files

I have TT3 on a Dell X5 and have downloaded the earlier POI speed camera sites.
I would like to have the ones that now incorporate speed limits advisories, but cant see how to delete any of the poi files on the Dell.
I have an icon that can remove programs, but when i go to that the only related prog is Checkpoint software 2.0
do i have to delete this or is there another way i can do it?

Hi Ron,

When you connect your Dell X5 to your PC, you probably use MS ActiveSync. Once connected you can use Windows Explorer to look in the folders of your PPC.

The camera database comprises of .OV2 (database) files and .BMP (screen icon) files. You can search for pocketgps_uk_*, in the following folder:

My Pocket PC\Storage Card\Great_Britain Navigator Map

You can then use Windows Explorer to delete the .OV2 and .BMP files of your choice.
