|
|
Hi,
Having just purchased my Navman icn 650, I thought I would load the uk safety camera poi's from this site. I deleted the headers, followed the instructions to the letter but it won't work. I get to the last screen and it says 'no poi's found in this file' or words to that effect. Any-one help?
Thanks.

Well, every other time someone has claimed this, it has been found to be user error. If you email the file you're trying to load to me, I'll have a look for you. _________________ Tim |

Well Tim was right. User error. For the benefit of others, the downloaded csv file was automatically opened with Excel and somehow it disabled the quote marks. Tim kindly sent me a working file. But you must use Word or notepad or any word proccessor to open the file. Again Many thanks.

I wouldn't even advocate using Word. Just use Notepad, nothing else. It's easy to do; find the .csv file you want using File Explorer, right click on it and select 'Open with" then highlight Notepad. It's as simple as that. _________________ Tim |
