Upgrade TT ver 2 - TT ver3 on iPAQ 2200

I have a HP iPAQ h2200 with MS Windows PPC 2003. running TTom Navigator 2, Promasoft GPS assist and PostCode data.

When TT Nav 3 came out I was outside the time slot for a free upgrade and so never bithered to install the newer version.

I have just read this link http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=15927

This seems to suggest that I am now able to upgrade 2 to 3 for free. Can someone please comfirm that this is what this thread refers to and if I am likely to come up against any problems.

Will I need to re-activate TT if I do this?

That's not a free download. You still need the activation code to make it work, and since you haven't bought TT3, you won't have it

What prompted this was the following link that I found on the TT site

This refers to a v3 upgrade whist stating that it is suitable for v2.

Or am I reading this all wrong.
