Advice Requested on GPS purchase

Hi folks ... just joined this forum.

I want to buy a relatively inexpensive portable GPS that I plan to use primarily in a car. The slightly unusual requirement is that I spend approx 50% of my time in the UK and 50% in Norway. I'd like something that I can access maps for both countries.

I do occasionally go to the USA so having that as an option too would be great, but probably too much to ask.

Anybody out there know of a system that would work? I have seen the Typhoon which looks good but I could not find any info that said I could buy Norway maps anywhere.

there are a few ways in which to get a cheap gps system the cheapest i know is through your mobile (nokia 6600 only) u can then buy the tomtom3 for it that costs about £170 but maybe able to get it cheaper on ebay the other opition is to buy some sort of pda (xda, pocket pc, etc..) then again buy the tomtom 3 receiver and software for that. i also know u can get addons i.e for america and all of europe again off ebay much cheap then web sites. If you want a full system with no gps receiver lads hanging out of it then u r goin to need to somethin like navman icn 630/635 or 510. i hope this info helps you
