Emtac BT GPS & Sirf Problem....

I'm using an Emtac BT GPS, which generally works very well, however I been experiencing problems with it defaulting to Sirf mode.

If the unit is left ununsed or the power runs low, for some unkown reason it defaults back to Sirf mode. This isn't a problem for TomTom running on my PPC, as I just run the Emtac tool and rest it.

However TomTom Mobile fails to connect when set to Sirf mode and theres no way of resetting it using just the SmartPhone, which is a major problem if I do not have my PPC handy.

Is it normal for the Emtac to default to Sirf mode, if not is it possible to reflash it, or will it need returning to Emtac?
