Hi all!
I've got a Toshiba 2032SP with a Rikaline 6010-X5 GPS Receiver but i can't get it to work.
When i connect the receiver, a green light will show up for 4 seconds and then it's blinking every second.
When i connect the pda to it, the pda charges his battery.
I tap on TomTom GPS and set it up: Rikaline 6010 on comport 1
and slide the icon from ZZzz to the TomTom hands. then i click on status but i waited more then an hour but no sats. will show up.
Can someone help me ?
I've have allready disabled the infrared beamer
Sorry for the bad english |

Hi Signs - stating the obvious but are you also tapping the little square next to the two drop down lists ( for rikaline and com1) to turn it on?
Have you tried the gps mouse outside the car window to see if you get any fixes? |

If the receiver has a flashing green light then it should be indicating a satellite fix. I have noticed a few posts suggesting setting the baud rate correctly as a troubleshooting procedure. If TomTom is correctly loaded and the receiver flashing green then it would apear to suggest that the PDA is not receiving data from the receiver. I didn't need to load any drivers onto my iPAQ to get my Rikaline to work but not sure whether this is also the case fo the Toshiba.
Other than that I think you need one of the 'techies' on the forum to advise...... |
